Yesterday, I was home with the kids in the morning before I had to work. Those are always hard mornings because I want to get alot done around the house, but then I feel like I should really be spending time with the kids because by the time I get home from work, it’s almost their bedtime and we rush to finish the day. So, anyway, I figured I really better sort through some of our mail before I left for work. It seems Aidan didn’t really want me to do that, so while I opened an envelope, he decided to grab another one and he took off running out of the room. I just ignored him and continued to finish sorting and then suddenly he came running back in and tapped me on my leg. I looked down and said “yes Aidan” and he, being a two year old boy just yearning for some attention from his mom, said (and I quote)…”you’ll never get your mail now mom!!!). It was a line he learned from a backyardigan book that I read him. I laughed so hard. Then I realized, who cares about sorting my mail, I have this amazing son who is dying to spend time with his mama. So, I put the mail away and we played together building with lincoln logs, and playing with matchbox cars. It was awesome, and I feel so blessed to have such a sweet and funny boy, thank you Lord for all you have given me, and please don’t let me ever take it for granted! Good night.

lol. That is awesome. Kids say the greatest things. They are pretty awesome and to see them grow up is amazing. To me it is hillarious when Joshua fake falls down and shakes his head. Or if he gets himself stuck he looks up at me and says “Rob, I guck”. lol..well he doesn’t say guck anymore, he says stuck but its so funny the things they say. Like when he falls down he will say “Rob I’m alright” and I ask him if hes sure and he says “I sure”. I love it….lol
